Microwave Ovens emit radiation through normal use and can be functioning poorly without your knowledge through general wear and tear.

Employers ‘Duty of Care’ for safe plant and equipment in the workplace requires that minimum safety standards are met especially with microwave emissions that are dangerous and harmful to the human body. 

The AS/NZS Standards, ARPANSA, and World Health Organisations have set the maximum limits before injury to the user occurs, JAGS can measure and test the microwave emission levels to these guidelines. 

Annual Microwave Oven RF Leakage Testing is a means of ensuring the correct functioning of the appliance and complements the electrical testing of the Microwave Oven.
